Ben

The IT Guy

Ben is an experienced RITTech registered, ITIL qualified, IT professional, technical lead and Head of IT.

Ben has been working in IT since 2016, working in procurement prior to the transition into IT. Ben started his IT career providing L1/2 support in an experienced and knowledgeable team, working his way to become the team's technical lead and manager.

Following an acquisition by Microsoft, Ben was involved in integration projects and alignment of policies and process to ensure efficient approach utilising the new technologies available.

Ben worked for Microsoft as an IT Operations Manager until 2022, leading a v-team of 9 IT professionals providing high quality IT Support to an organisation of over 2000 people.

In 2022 Ben moved to work as Head of IT in a Central London HealthTech company, and has a wide bredth of experience across both corporate IT estates and personal devices.

In late 2023 Ben decided to move to work for Meyer IT full time, a company he founded in 2022. Since then he has worked with individuals, companies and charities to streamline and support their IT.

A bit more about me!

Ben's worked in IT most of his career, but started off in IT Procurement. Now working as Head of IT in a central London company, he has a wide bredth of experience across both corporate IT estates and personal devices.

Ben started his IT career supporting users on both Windows and Apple device from setting up laptops to troubleshooting hardware and software issues. Ben is a registered IT Technican (RITTech), with a drive to continually learn and develop

Since then, Ben's career has progressed to a technical lead and IT Operations Manager at Microsoft, and then to a Head of IT position in a central London company. Whilst retaining and developing his technical knowledge, he now also take a strategic look at an IT estate ensuring the focus is in the correct area.

Ben also has recent experience in Cyber Essential Plus, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, Google Workspace, Google IdP and VMware virtualisation, as well as many other IT technologies and services.
